What you can skip
- Floss bobbins and organizers are nice to have, but optional. A zip bag per project works fine at first.
- You don't need a frame or a stand. A small hoop held in your kid's lap is plenty.
- With 2 strands, one skein of each color goes a long way, so you rarely need more than one of anything.
- The cover page of every PixelFloss pattern lists exactly which DMC numbers to buy, so there's no guessing at the store.
